CONTEST!
Here's how it will work. As you know, Breaking Dawn is coming out on Friday night! So, below I have a list of questions concerning what will happen in the final book. Please email your numbered answers to bitemeatp@yahoo.com and after BD is released, I'll go through all the submissions. The person with the closest predictions wins! Prize is *secret* . No submissions will be accepted after Saturday at 12:00 am. If you've had the book MAJORLY spoiled for you then I don't think it's very fair or honest to enter the contest. -Nyersss

New interview with Kellan!
Newsweek has published a very interesting article about Twilight and Stephenie's perhaps unintentional vision of instilling better morals and standards for the average teenage fan. Unlike the Times review, Newsweek puts Stephenie's accomplishments of helping girls stay pure in a good light this time. Maybe girls are doing it for the wrong reason (for example, abstaining only because Edward does so) but it still means less broken hearts and STD's. I'm not saying that's what always happens but I think on the majority, it does.
OK, enough preaching. I know there's been tons of news lately so make sure you scroll down a bit and check out everything that's been going on.
FUNNY STORY: RachelBlack (from the forums) has informed me that while she was listening to Imprint: A Twilight Podcast, Andrew Sims, host of Imprint and Mugglecast, mentioned that he would have loved to have the name Bite Me but it was already taken. We're currently lookng for editors to edit upcoming episodes of our podcast. I would really approciate somebody helping me out because my experience is VERY limited and I feel the shows would come out much better if we had help. Anoshka emailed me and had a theory about BD. Her theory is basically when Jacob ran away, he ran to alaska and ran into the Denali clan. I think that's going to cause a LOT of tension. Jacob, Bella, Edward and TANYA. Wowzers. How did we not think of that before? It makes so much sense that the Denali clan would come into the books via runaway Jake.

Boredom Strikes Again and This Results!
Hahaha after a long vacation at the cape with many a sunburn to keep me indoors (me and my bad tan self) procrastinating unpacking and repacking yuck I have compiled a great collection of photos that made me smile. and YAYYYY!! only like 18 more days until BD! who is excited!! woohooo!! i cant control myself. Collins still makes me mad by the wayy.... Random but did anyone ever notice that most pics of Taylor Lautner are of when he is a little boy?
Oh yeah and all of the Taylor Pictures are for the person who requested more pics of Jacob- couldnt find any of him being jacob, but i tried :)

The New York Times has reviewed Twilight and Larry blogged with his thoughts about it. He says,
"Where the article gets interesting is when Collins discusses a generation of girls growing up with the supposedly unrealistic expectation of finding a hunk like Edward who just wants to cuddle."
So according to Collins, it's wrong to have high standards? Just think of all the losers Stephenie Meyer prevented us from going out with! *cheers for Stephenie and Larry, boos the bitter Collins woman*

I know how much you people look forward to my random pictures that I dig up from the Internet *sarcasm* Except I have a real excuse this time...I'm sure you were all disturbed from the EW cover? I thought so. Today's subject is...SKANDAR KEYNES! WOO!
i love that smile ~ this made me snort, make of it what you will ~ irresistible, right? ~ wee! ~ This interview made my day (I know, immature unfocused and hyper but he was young (actually 14) ~ he's waving at me ~ watermarked :( BUT AMAZING! ~ second Narnia premiere in 3 years and he still wears semi dirty converse ~ need I say anymore?

EW! stands for Entertainment Weekely Cover
EW EWW EWWWWWW!!! go to StephenieMeyer.com (linked) to see the new Entertainment Weekely cover to come out on Friday. All I can say is EW! grooossssss picture of Fedward (aka Spunk Ransom to everyone else) Whatever that is like THE single worst photo i have ever laid eyes on of him. and believe me I have seen many a photo of him (ahaha thanks to nyny). Although I am glad that they got the cover, its not a good picture. it makes him look weird and kind of creepy.

BD Update and TWILIGHT TUESDAY!
Look what I found on the Lexicon. Ok I'm saddened that we didn't get this email but we will do our best to prevent book spoilage. I do not think its reasonable to shut down message boards 3 weeks before the book comes out because we're still talking about theories. The forums are completely safe of BD leaks and will remain that way until the book is actually released. Now for comments, I'm going to change the setting so that you can no longer use anonymous. Your name and if possible URL would be appreciated when commenting. I'll be watching all the comments for any leakage. As a site, Bite Me will not be posting any spoilers because (1) I wouldn't know where to find them (2) I myself don't want to be spoiled and (3) I take no pleasure in spoiling the book for you. Well, maybe a little. (jk) And if you email me spoilers and I unexpectedly get spoiled then I will bury myself in a hole and come out on August 1st.

Movie spoilers!
THANK YOU STACIE! Here are three scenes from the movie that Stacie found on UKyoutube. I'm not sure how much longer they'll stay up there because of copyright, but its worth a click. Actually this isn't really copyright infringment because these were taken from the Penelope dvd as bonus content. 1 & 2 are scenes and 3 is behind the scenes. OMG 3 has spunk with black eyes, ahhh it looks soooo freaky!

B&N having midnight release!
Maybe most of you know this already but I DIDN'T! WOOO!!
Here's the link. I think both stores have basically the same exact activites so it's probably a matter of which is closer. There isn't a dramatic price difference either. We'd love to know what you're doing for the release! Keep commenting!
